Online hearing test

If you want a quick orientation check of your hearing, you can use the ReSound online hearing test. It is useful as a first step, but it does not replace a professional hearing evaluation.

Professional recommendation

The online test can provide an initial indication. For diagnosis and hearing aid decisions, professional audiometry, tympanometry, OAE and, when needed, ABR/BERA are required.

How to take it

Choose a quiet room, use headphones if possible and follow the test instructions. Headphones are recommended because they allow each ear to be checked separately.

How long it takes

ReSound presents the online test as a quick check that takes around 3 minutes.

After the test

If the result suggests possible hearing loss, book a professional hearing evaluation for accurate testing and interpretation.

Why an online test is not enough

An online test is useful for screening, but it does not provide a complete clinical measurement of hearing thresholds, middle-ear status or auditory pathway function.

Professional tests at our center

Pure tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions and ABR/BERA help identify the type and degree of hearing loss.
